MSNBC Todd Santos Eyebrows Take Two
So, nobody reads this stupid little blog! But I've had a couple of comments over Todd Santos eyebrows. I guess it was up to me, since I'm on the top of google searches over his hideous eyebrows!
Dude, I'm serious, you were on my tv this morning and I had to laugh my ass off! Do something about them. Hopefully you're not a cancer survivor or something, but if you are, I apologize for making fun of you! Umkay???
Here's a photo of him, apparently before the accident or whatever. They kind of look normal here, but watch him in the early mornings, and I guarantee, they will weird you out!

At least his face is proportional now... you should have seen him at UMASS Lowell back in the late 90's. He had Howard Stern hair!

My wife and I live in the Columbia, SC area, where Todd was the weather guy on the CBS station before going to MSNBC. We affectionately called him "Brows". He looks rather normal when his eyes are relaxed, but he seems to widen his eyes when reading the teleprompter, and his brows go north in a big way.

My brother is good friends with Todd and I've spent a night out on the town with him and the rest of the guys. I must say, he looks completely different in civilian clothing without all that gunk in his hair. He doesn't really have much say over what the people in make-up do to him. He's such a nice guy. I'd hate for him to read these comments and feel at all insecure.

i hope no one ever makes fun of you for the way you look...todd is one of the nicest, most sincere, and genuine people you will ever meet. if you actually knew him you would feel horrible...and rightly so!

I've been amazed by the density of Todd's eyebrows for quite a while now. I believed that I was the only one, and this belief was supported by my wife's comments about my obsession every time I'd mention them. She says I've ruined his show for her.
I just saw Todd again a few minutes ago, bravely informing us of the daily weather secrets the government doesn't want you to know, and it occurred to me that I should attempt to learn if there are, in fact, any other admirers of Todd's prodigious "brow worms."
And here I am. Alone no more. BRB. I have to rewind the DVR and watch him (them) again.
It is just as I remembered. Thick. Rich. Luxurious. Like that Penelope Cruz commercial for that hair care product. He is the "Cyrano" of "orbit bumpers" - "eye muffs," if you will. Watching his furries move across his forehead is like watching two caterpillars engaged in a primal "dans l'mour".
I am spent.

Oh, people make fun of me all the time!
I'm not slamming him for his personality as he seems like a really great guy!
He just has really weird brows that move all over the place...that is all.
I searched and searched for somebody else feeling the same way as me, but alas nothing, until recently. Thanks kids for playing along.
Todd, if you have read this, I'm sorry if I offended you but my posts stand! Bless you, sir.

Dearest Rochelle - you beat me to it!... blogging about Todd Santo's eye brows. I'm sure he's a nice guy and all like some others have claimed in previous comments, but I cannot stand to watch the man do the weather forecast at 4-some-ungodly-hour in the morning while his eyebrows are mobile on his face. It's distracting to such a degree, I leave the room and listen but to negate the viewers distress that must watch, I feel NBC should spring for a series botox injections to freeze them in place. But alas, I fear not even this lethal chemical compound could leash the power and fury of his wild browline. I guess both of us should rejoice that it's not a single roman specimen and the fact that his last day on Early Today was announced at the end of the episode on 12/30/2008.

I started watching msnbc a few years ago when I realized things were messed up in the U.S.
Every morning, this guy's eyebrows danced all over the place and freaked me out!
I'm positive Todd is a great guy...I never thought people would EVER read my little rants...they were just notes to myself, basically?
Yeah, my brows suck, and so does my bikini line. Whatever?
I wish you luck Mr. Santos! This was never meant as a personal attack. Seriously, good luck, sir!
But, I have to admit, I am amused by the several comments I've received...

All of those guys on Early Today are a bit to chummy. Especially Dan and Todd. Dan reportedly once said in an interview he lived with his partner and two dogs. Later that interview got lost. All of them seem a bit to friendly on that show...if ya know what I mean! Jeff Ranieri has toned down his fruity sissy voice and antics but is still a bit strange. They all are weird on there and just to downright chummy like a bunch of girly men.

check out Peter Alexander of NBC news. When he does the news on the Today Show his eyebrows are just like Todd's. Especially when he wrinkles up his forehead making a point and looks similar to what Todd does looking up and reading the teleprompter. Totally weird looking! All these tv reporter folks seem to be getting their eyebrows done after Oprah had some specials on this subject. She and others had them done on the show. Then it seems everyone is doing it. They seem to want them far apart which makes them look more weird looking. But that is the trend and how they showed them to be done.

OMG!! No mor Todd!! What will we due?! LOL!! Dun't tell me we have Jeff Ranieri to put up with now!! What is it wit his long ties? After he does the long report he appears at the end with his coat unbuttoned, the long tie hangin' down over his zip, and his blouse tail out. Duh what's dat all about? Just when we thought he had uncreeped some now he weirding up again! Well guess SOP for him wit his S's.

I read that the Weather Plus was dumped 12/31/2008. So they were all out of that job. That must be why they said he was leaving. Glad he was not fired for his brows even though they are weird. I too wonder where Todd went. The poor soul. I looked forward to the brows daily. Hope Rochelle will keep us imformed.

Yeah Todd Santos was back on Early Today this past Monday after the 4th weekends. No close up shots of him AND he did not raise his eyebrows hardly any. Guess with Jeff Ranieri back in San Francisco affiliate and Bill Karens working 7 days weeks with Early Today and the Today show they needed Todd Back. A new guy was on once but I forgot his name, Raphael___________something.
