New Film Shooting In April

We are still trying to get "Joy" out into the mainstream. We've had a few distribution offers, but we do not know what we are going to do with it. This little film has so much of South Western Ohio involved. Mostly Jungle Jim's. Oh, and there are some scenes from "Findlay Market."

And one of the best parts we put into the film is the local Cincy Indy Music. Some of the best local music is involved, "Wussy", "The Hiders", "Lovely Crash" and, perhaps one of the best ever is "Kim Taylor."

This little film turned out to be a gold mine after all of the editing was finished and I hope we can promote these awesome artists!

So, come on...it will ROCK!!!

Finally, Almost Out Of This Funk

I made my stupid car drive to Northside and hoped I didn't have a flat tire or anything.

It was worth it. I saw a few people I haven't seen in months (except for Pete).

Yea I know you don't care what I did or saw...but the experience helped lift my heart, for now!!!

Not Sure What I Want To Say

My car is fucked up and need to get it fixed; think it's a strut mount or something...

I'm back at my old job where I was fired two years ago. Isn't it funny how things turn around? I'm getting them back into the web space, but it is a far cry from when I left. It's amazing we have any sales with this messed up economy...I guess there are some folks still out there with money to spend?

I think we may survive!!!I am hopeful!

Geesh, I SO don't hope we go into a full-blown-out depression...I really don't want to live on SPAM!

Lilly had such a great Christmas, what a great kid...she was so patient as we played the white elephant game. Mom, you would so love this little girl, she's the best ever! I'll bet Candice does. Listening to my limited tunes on my new iPod and I am full of stupid memories.

We heard "Vow" by Garbage back in the day, and she said, "It sounds like that chick from Transistor." But I heard it as "Chicken Transistor."

Good times! Who would have thought that Shirley Manson would one day become an icon?

BTW, what ever happended to "Transistor?" That was a great album!!! I need to burn it if you have it??? Step up if you have that most excellent CD!!!

Very Happy, For Now...

I luv my new, old job. It's so laid back from two years ago. I've had a huge learning curve with new software, which can only help me in the long run, but my work is starting to make a difference.

Just hope I've saved the company and have a few more years left! It ROCKS FOR NOW!!!

Oh, I splurged and bought an iPod Touch...the first big purchase I've made in a couple of years...I lurv it!

Is It Friday Yet?

I'm so stoked to see my buddies, Wussy, at Fountain Square Friday! I don't understand why they are the first band playing, but whatever.

And I really hope Lilly will be there to dance with me. I miss you little sweetie and we need to dance together on my "pogo sticks."

Hey, What's Happening?

I'm starting a new job Monday...I almost cried leaving Northside today. Oh, yeah, hopefully, I'll be living down there soon. Northside is where I belong. All the freaks say so!

Last night, I drank and danced too much to 80s night at the C&D (aka The Complete Dive). Too much fun hanging out with Candice, Beth C., Uncle Barry, Anita Beer and Leslie!

My brace has been removed and I am learning to walk on crutches. What a new experience, but it is so much easier than trying to carry myself on the stupid crutches (pogo sticks, as Lilly calls them). How in the hell does a two-year old even know what pogo sticks are? That little kid is amazing! I love you little sweetie.

Tomorrow night, "Lovely Crash" is playing at the Tavern. I will sooooooooooo be there!

Now, I need to get some rest so I can hang tomorrow!

Made A Huge Decision Tonight...

I'm done with freakin' stupid West Chester, Fairfield, Hamilton, or whatever!

My heart belongs in Northside! Home of my scooter friends and rock friends. I am working there (very cheaply) as a bookkeeper for my good friend, Leslie. I plan on finding more work as a server, bartender, or something! Shit, I am even on the C&Ds softball team.

Northside is where I want to be!

I've raised two awesome kids; Nick is turning 29 today. I have the greatest granddaughter in the world. I watched Mom die. It's my turn now to live my dream...the ROCK STAR dream. There are so many great bands in Northside. I am writing my ass off (which Mom would have adored, and I'm sure she does.) I have at least 10 songs I'm writing now...meow.

I still love you folks up north, but I want to follow my dream!

I want music and more music...scooters and more scooters!

The Cincinnati Rollergirls Kick Major ASS!

I went to the bout with a bunch of scooter kidz and my family. It was a blast. Sadistic Sadie kicks all of them. After the bout, my nephews, Collin and Ian, got Sadie's autograph and a handshake.

The boys told me, they are only going to take showers with a baggie on their hand!

Wussy Is Rocking Harder Than Ever!

I went to SXSW with them. They were home for a few days and took off for a two week east coast tour. Last night, they played at the Comet (my favorite place in the whole, wide world) and I hung out with Dawn for a couple of hours, and then later, Lisa. Oh, yeah, Chuck and Mark were there too. Supposedly, I'm going on the next road trip with them since I am "The perfect traveling companion." I don't know where yet, but Mark says he'll let me know in a week or so.

God I'm having the time of my life. Mom, I wish you were around so I could tell you about it...I know you are and can see how much I am loving life right now. Things are almost perfect. I've got my Lilly Bean, my kids. my friends in West Chester, and now, I am embarking on the greatest shit ever...Scooter friends, band friends and whatever happens in Northside, stays in Northside. Lovin' life and wish you were here Mom!
