Another Long Day

Yup, we started opening absentee ballots today.

My co-workers and I went out last night and it was a freakin' blast! Haven't had that much fun since I fell and broke my glasses after seeing Wussy last month!

Turned out to be closer to 4000-6000 ballots in one day. And, this doesn't include shit from other places like libraries, BMVs, Secretary of State...

This is unreal! And, I am tired and have to survive for another month!!!

Wow, I'm Tired!

I've been working for the Board of Elections since mid-August and it is becoming exhausting. If I'm able to handle it, I can potentially work 86 hours a week until election day. It is unbeleivable all of the work it takes to put on a presidential election, especially one as important as this.

We are getting 2000-4000 new regisitrations a day. Of course, today was the end of registration, but we will be getting last-minute ones from schools, libraries, BMV and Secretary of State. Just getting out the absentee ballots is an amazing process.
