I Am Surviving This Grueling Schedule

And making lots of contacts for work.

My job as Production Coordinator for the film "Joy" consists of finding solutions to crazy problems and taking care of all the paperwork for the next days shoot. It's very interesting and something I would have never had a chance to experience if I didn't know Julie, the writer, star, producer and assistant director.

When I read this script, I knew I wanted to be part of it. It is freakin' cool to watch the scenes take place. I love this movie! Tonight, when the gospel choir went on, I cried my eyes out. I know how important this scene is to Julie and what a beautiful shot it was.

Around 5:00 a.m. (I just got home after being there until 7:00 a.m yesterday, then a 4:00 p.m. call and have to be back at 7:30 p.m. today) they started the crazy scene of Marie #2 climbing the "Wall of Cheese" at Jungle Jim's...in a skirt and heels!!!

Crazy shit. Here's a photo I snapped of her.

Happy Birthday Candice!

I'm so sorry I didn't get to hang out with you tonight...you looked BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for showing up at the filming so I could hug you. I love you SOOOOOO MUCH!!!

Paul says you had a wonderful time. I love your Humphrey with the bottle of Jose Cuervo. It was very sweet of Rox and Gary to get that.

You have a very special dinner coming in a couple of weeks. K?

I'm Rochelle, The PC, But I Want To Be A Mac

How do I begin this story? Other than my fingers feeling really fat? Yeah, I have to stay up all night!

Last Sunday after finally reaching North Carolina, I got the call from Julie offering me a job on her film, "JOY." http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070722/NEWS01/707220436/1056/COL02

Sure, I'll take it. I read this script a year or so ago and could not believe how clever it was. Yeah, I convinced her to take out the last scene...don't spoon feed me the end, let us think about it. She told me she ditched the ending because of "bad writing." It wasn't "bad writing" but the need to give a tidy ending.

I'm an idie film freak and I want to think about what is about to happen. I don't need somebody to tell me the ending.

Anyway, I have to get used to working 9:00 pm to 9:00 am. That is why I'm still awake and drinking massive amounts of beer!

Wish me luck???

Get The Shoe RAWKED!

What a great fuckin' show. You have to check out "http://gettheshoe.com/." Videos don't do them justice. I've never, ever, seen anything like this!

But, I have to report to the set shortly. I am also very excited about working on a real film. This movie is going to blow off shoes, or whatever you're wearing...I swear, what a great script!

Welcome To North Carolina

We got here last night after a long horrible road trip.

I'm having fun so far, but haven't juggled yet. I'm not even sure I can do it anymore?

Anyway, it's fun seeing these people that I only see once a year or so.

The only real news I have is that Julie hired me as a production assistant on the filming of "JOY." I'm pretty stoked about this, but it will be a very long three weeks. Most of the filming is taking place between 9:00 pm and 9:00 am. It will be worth it!

What A Great Reporter!

Mika Brzezinski, you rawk! Check out this youtube video where she refuses to lead off the news with a Paris Hilton story!

Morning Joe...hell, I even wake up each morning at 6:00 a.m. to watch your show! Keep up the good work guys!

Been Awhile

I've been to Bonnaroo, Gatlinburg and am off to the IJA fest next week. (Yeah that's a juggling fest.)

I'm tired of this traveling bullshit. I still haven't done laundry from last week, and I have to be in Xenia by 10:00 a.m. Sunday. Could somebody just kill me now?

Actually, the fest is a blast and excited about it (other than the driving). Watch out! I may be coming to a city near you!
