Ramblings and rants about the amusing, stupid things that happen to me in and around Cincinnati.

Christmas Is Over

It was a lot fun being with the family. I sliced my thumb making potato salad and probably should have gotten stitches since everytime I remove a bandaid it starts bleeding again.

The presents we fought over in our white elephant game were fun. We had an "Answer me Jesus" statue (an 8 ball on the bottom), talking Napolean Dynamite doll (I think I'll buy one of these for myself -- "Lucky"), A Christmas Story leg lamp, A beer helmet, Victoria Secrets package (boa, large panties, gift certificate), several texas hold'em games and I can't remember what else.

The only downside to Christmas Eve was that my beloved Bengals were spanked by the clueless Buffalo Bills. That has certainly lowered my expectations of Cincy doing any good in the playoffs. Oh well, they are a very young team and who would have guessed they would win the AFC North.

Merry Christmas!

Oops, that's not politically correct. How about, Have A Merry Fuckin' WhoDey Christmas!

Go Bengals. You rock. I will so be at Doug and Dorothy's before kick off. I swear.

The boss let us go an hour early today. But, wait, he gave us baskets with bunches of stuff from Yankee Candle Company. Plus, I got 4 $100 gift cards to Walmart. I've been putting off the Walmart trip for a week. Good thing, I spent $202.36 there tonight. It's so nice not wracking up my credit cards. I love those Walmart cards!

I had a great time at O'Chux tonight. I bought the whole freakin' bar a shot. Of course Roxy only charged me half of what the bill should have been. Girl, you Rock! Oh, yeah, she got a very nice tip.

I'm off to bed now...after I watch AD one more time!

Hurry Before I Forget The Stupid Line

Hey, Roxy, what's the number for 911?

Am I Delusional, Or Just Insane?

So, I've been seeing this guy for a few weeks. Remember now I've been divorced for a long time and have never had a relationship.

Tonight, I met two guys who are interested in me. How weird is that?

The funny thing is the 2nd one asked what I did and I replied with something stupid like, "I work at a vegetarian restaurant, I hate my boss because he tries to put steak in the customers' meals."

Don't know where that crap came from, but I'm still giggling.

WhoDey!

My life has been incredibily boring lately. Congrats to the Linzes from Cincinnati on winning Amazing Race. I only watched the final episode, but they looked like they were a riot.

I'm looking forward to Christmas Eve with the family. And, the Bengals play Saturday too. Geez, it is so refreshing to have a winning team after so many years of misery.

One other thing. Mom's one-year anniversary of her death was yesterday. The kids and I hung out. I'm happy to say, we survived. But, we still miss you!

Thanks Nick & Sara

I finally saw your new place...I like it. Nick you are still the best kick-ass chef I know. Great meal.

If you haven't seen "March of the Penguins" yet, I highly recommend it. Very sweet and sad. I can't imagine living a life like that.

I Miss You So Much, Mom

So, it's been nearly a year. I haven't been sleeping much and drinking WAY TOO much over missing you. Friday night, I went to bed at noon on Saturday. I'm exhausted. But, I'm not the only one of your children and grand children that are playing this stupid game. I swear!

At least, "We Are Family."

Whatever. I'm happy you feel younger and taller. Fuck, I miss you so much!

Nick called today and asked if I wanted to see Lilly Bean being born. Of course I do. I love you kids and if I can see my grand daughter coming into the world, absolutely I want to be there.

Mom, I'm not sure what to think of dad and his girl friend. He's back into religion and singing in the choir and shit. Kind of like when I was a kid.

I love you and miss you.

Jen Rocks

Took my football picks to Rafferty's. Now, I feel like shit. Stayed home yesterday and I'm probably very contagious.

Ended up at the mall for some reason. Didn't buy a thing. I ended up at O'Chux here Jen is working (not Rox) and it was a great time.

She made us play games for prizes.

I think I will be hanging out there on Fridays from now on. What a fun time!

Arrested Development

Once again FOX, how can you get rid of this show?

Hopefully, HBO, Showtime, or even better, NBC picks it up and puts in a Thursday time slot. Get rid of "Joey." What a piece of shit. Hook it up with "The Office." Let's make Thursday night "Must See TV" again.

Of course my big fear is that they would censor it. This is the dirtiest show EVA on TV. If it went to NBC, the show probably couldn't get away with the stuff they do now.

Who cares? WE MUST SAVE ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT!

Excuse me while I go and watch the show again...fourth or fifth time?

What's Up?

Haven't posted for a few days. I just don't have anything to say.

Except, did you catch Monday's episode of "Arrested Development"? Oh my god, how can Fox cancel this gem? FOX, you SUCK!

Miles Is Dumb, Mean And He Hurts Me

I think that is what Kara's horse said to the horse psychic?

I guess I lost a bet to Jack about who the previous Bengal's coach was. I must have been asleep for two-three years? Jack, you got $5.00 coming your way. I concede. I'm a dumb ass. Is that good enough?

Should I Call Him?

The first day he hasn't called me. Should I be so brave? Am I in high school again?
